Jungle travel in Ecuador is easier than in most countries because the distance in less than a day by public transportation.

The coast has a lot to offer too. Observe local fishermen return from sea, in their balsa-wood rafts, to the sandy shore or help them pull in their nets in return for some fresh catch. Enjoy swimming in the warm sea and listen to tropical music in a local bar. The animals in the Galapagos Island are so unafraid of humans that it would be wise to watch out where you step. Here you can swim with sea lions and penguins or walk along beaches while endemic bird species flap by and the sun sets at the horizon.
