MESSAGE OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR I am very glad to remind you that from July 19th, date in which our Annual General Assembly took place, we have fourteen new members of the Board of Directors, who are willing to cooperate more closely in the activities of the ECCC. On August 14th, was held the first meeting of the new Board of Directors. During that meeting the new President and Vice-Presidents were elected unanimously, as follows:
We welcome them to our Chamber working team. We congratulate them for their appointments, and we wish them success in their functions. We are sure they will accomplish a wonderful job in the following two years. We also reiterate the commitment of all the staff of the Chamber to work together in the fulfillment of the objectives of our institution in benefit of our members. We thank our President who is leaving us, Mr. Janio Sanchez, for his perseverance and hard work in the development of the different activities of the Chamber during the time he exerted his functions. We are sure we will still have his valuable support in the Board of Directors of the ECCC, in the Telecommunications Committee and in the Federation of Bi-national Chambers of Ecuador (FECABE). With our new Board of Directors, we will continue offering you the best information and services. We will be able to achieve all our goals working together and taking into account your suggestions. Our Chamber has already begun the organization of its traditional Thanksgiving Dinner by fourth occasion. We already invite you to reserve in your schedule the night of Friday 26th of October to celebrate this day, which is very important in Canada, as it is the day to thank God for the fall harvests.
